Twitteneutics - Day 2

Here is what I've gleaned from reading God's Word over the last couple days--thoughts I posted on Twitter.

Israel's ongoing security issues are a result of the nation's ongoing disobedience (Judges 1:27-2:5).

True peace comes to him whose mind is focused on Christ and whose trust is truly in Him (Isa. 26:3-4).

The most rational form of speech is that which is consistent with the truth of Scripture and brings glory to Christ (Acts 26:24-29).

Repentance and contrition that is consequence-driven produces nothing more than a worldly grief leading 2 death (Matt. 27:3-5; 2 Cor. 7:10).

If the fear of evangelism is so great that you refuse to engage, is the Lord truly your light and salvation (Psalm 27:1-2)?

One's spiritual gifting is not determined by tests, surveys, feelings, or opinions. Such is determined by the Sovereign One (1 Cor. 12:18).

Salvation is entirely of the Lord! He is sovereign! His children are secure and their hope is eternal (1 Peter 1:3-9)!

The antithesis of impotent and godless "your best life now" theology is found in one amazing paragraph of Scripture (1 Peter 1:3-9).

Those who claim to have once been born-again, but are now atheists, are liars. Imperishable seed never becomes perishable (1 Peter 1:22-25).

If you have no fear of the Lord then you have no real wisdom. If you refuse to turn away from evil then you lack understanding (Job 28:28).
