Twitteneutics - Day 3

Here is what I've gleaned from reading God's Word this morning--thoughts I posted on Twitter.

Building relationships to earn the right to share the gospel with people is foreign to Scripture and inconsistent with Jesus' ministry (Mark 1).

Those who claim to know Christ, yet see freedom from sin as a license to sin, are not truly servants of God (1 Peter 2:16). They are lost.

To "ascribe" to the Lord is not to confer something upon Him, but to reverently recognize what is already true about Him (Ps. 29:1-2).

Every have a heckler rage and laugh at the point when the heckler realizes he has no case against the Truth? Proverbs 29:9 explains why.

Do you refuse to share the gospel because of your fear of man? Your fear does not protect you from harm. It testifies to your unbelief (Prov. 29:25).

Atheists are to be most pitied among people, for they have to see things upside-down to make any sense of their worldview (Isa 29:15-16).
