Twitteneutics - Day 5

Here's what I've gleaned during my time in God's Word, over the last few days.

In the case "Naturalism v. Christianity," for Naturalism: Darwin (Rom. 1:18-23); and for Christianity: Peter (2 Pet. 1:16-21). No contest!

Under what circumstances should the Christian engage in civil disobedience? God's Word give us the answer (Acts 5:17-42). Preach the Gospel!

The American Church is, in many ways, like the Pharisees of old--placing the traditions of men over the commands of God (Mark 7:1-13).

The new Judaizers in the American Church follow the Jewish dietary laws, in direct contradiction to the words of Christ (Mark 7:14-23).

Nablus, the world's leading exporter of Islamic terrorism, was once known as Shechem--a city whose founder was a rapist (Genesis 34:1-2).

Praying specifically this morning for @realrobbell that he will repent and come to faith in Jesus Christ (2 Peter 2:1-3).

Praying for the many false teachers who ascribe to the "Word of Faith" and "Health, Wealth, and Prosperity" religions (2 Peter 2:10-22).

Do you never feel the Lord's discipline? Do you tire of talk of His correction? Then it is likely you are not one of His children (Proverbs 3:11-12).

Many American churches do not follow a biblical form of church government. They have "Eldercons," instead of Elders and Deacons (Acts 6:1-6)

The Bible knows nothing of the false teachings: "God has a wonderful plan for your life" and "Your Best Life Now" (Acts 7:1-60).
