Words of Comfort: Sky-diving

This may look as though I had just been sky-diving, but I wouldn’t sky-dive if you paid me. A girl from our church did. Her parachute got twisted and she fell to her death at 17 years of age. Another girl in Northern California wasn’t stupid. She took an instructor with her. When their parachute got twisted her friends heard her terrified screaming, and when her body hit the ground, they felt it shudder from 100 yards away. Life is too precious to risk it for a cheap thrill. If you need an adrenalin rush, give someone a gospel tract. You won’t die, but you may feel as though you are going to.
