Words of Comfort: Stoned!

During a recent radio interview, I wanted to let listeners know that we can still share our faith without the fear of persecution, so I said, “I took a team to U.C. Berkeley last month, and the authorities there gave us a permit to preach for four hours. Hundreds of students listened to the gospel without being offended, and none of us got stoned.” The host advised me not to use the word “stoned” and U. C. Berkeley in the same sentence.
