Words of Comfort: Plumber or Dentist

“You wouldn't go to a plumber for a root canal. Why then would anyone listen to Ray Comfort about evolution?” Mark Howard

You would be wise to go to a plumber--if he had a movie that proved that certain dentists wouldn’t know a tooth if it bit them on the face.

Tweet by American Atheists, Inc.:

Why is @RayComfort unwilling to release the unedited #EvolutionvsGod interviews? Is it b/c he doesn't want ppl to see how he twisted words?

Ray’s tweet back: American Atheists, Inc., keep tweeting in search for any evidence of evolution, thinking I have some on the editor’s floor. Nope. Not here.

Words of Comfort: From Facebook

Comment of the week:

Once upon a time, millions and millions and millions and millions and millions and millions and millions and millions and millions and millions and millions and millions and millions and millions and millions and millions and millions and millions and millions and millions and millions and millions and millions and millions and millions and millions and millions and millions and millions and millions and millions and millions and millions... hang on not finished yet... and millions and millions and millions and millions and millions and millions and millions and millions and millions and millions and millions and millions and millions and millions and millions and millions and millions and millions and millions and millions and millions and millions and millions and millions ... yawn... and millions and millions and millions and millions and millions and millions and millions and millions of years ago... what were we talking about again? O yes, ...something came from nothing... true story...???”  Mmaster Cchief

Words of Comfort: Missing Link.

“What you want is a missing link? Am I correct? Now please answer me something... let’s say I give you an example of species between fishes and reptilians, such as the Ichthyostega, will you ask me to give you another example in between ichthyostega and modern reptilians?  And if I give you that, won’t you ask me for another missing link, in other words, how much evidence do you need so your mind can see that evolution consists on assumptions supported by facts?” Ian Duarte

Charles Darwin spoke of a change of “kinds”—not a change within kinds as you are proposing. For Darwinian evolution (as Richard Dawkins likes to call it), there isn’t any observable and testable (the scientific method) evidence. Nothing is supported by facts. It all rests on nothing but blind faith.

Words of Comfort: Agnostic & Atheist.

“I'm pretty sure Ray has clarified before that he’s fine with the definition of atheist 'does not believe in gods', he doesn't cling to 'believes no gods exist' as the only valid definition for atheist. So he was being dishonest when he said Carl Sagan isn't an atheist because he's an agnostic. Carl Sagan didn't believe in gods, it's fine to call him a famous atheist. (But I like Ray Comfort's manners and humor; he was very friendly when he called “The Atheist Experience.”) H. Luke

Thank you Mr. Luke for noticing; others said the exact opposite. However, there is a huge difference between agnostic and atheist although with the modern definition of atheist, the line has become blurred. Carl Sagan said, “An atheist is someone who is certain that God does not exist, someone who has compelling evidence against the existence of God. I know of no such compelling evidence.” Atheists will still claim him as one of their own because for them numbers and celebrities help the faith.

Words of Comfort: Tantrum.

“VIEWER WARNING: This video may cause severe head pain, irritation, nightmares, brain damage, the need to drink in order to suppress hating people with a mustache, a weird violent reaction towards bananas, the weird need to start punching creationists in the face and burn them to the stake.”

While this is clearly tongue-in-cheek, rather than getting angry, evolutionists should simply discredit “Evolution vs. God” by providing observable and testable evidence for Darwinian evolution (a change of “kinds”). But they can’t and so like the toddler who can’t get his own way, he throws a tantrum.

Words of Comfort: Famous Story

So you think you are a good person? I don’t think you are. This famous story will show you why I think that way:

And behold, a certain lawyer stood up and tested Him, saying, “Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?” He said to him, “What is written in the law? What is your reading of it?” So he answered and said, “ ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind,’ and ‘your neighbor as yourself.’” And He said to him, “You have answered rightly; do this and you will live.” But he, wanting to justify himself, said to Jesus, “And who is my neighbor?” Then Jesus answered and said: “A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, who stripped him of his clothing, wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead.  Now by chance a certain priest came down that road. And when he saw him, he passed by on the other side.  Likewise a Levite, when he arrived at the place, came and looked, and passed by on the other side.  But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was. And when he saw him, he had compassion.  So he went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine; and he set him on his own animal, brought him to an inn, and took care of him.  On the next day, when he departed, he took out two denarii, gave them to the innkeeper, and said to him, ‘Take care of him; and whatever more you spend, when I come again, I will repay you.’ So which of these three do you think was neighbor to him who fell among the thieves?” And he said, “He who showed mercy on him.” Then Jesus said to him, “Go and do likewise.” (Luke 10:25-37)

Have you kept God’s Law by loving your neighbor (every other human being) as much as you love yourself? Of course you haven’t. No one has. The only way you can live is by satisfying the demands of that perfect Law some another way. That’s what the cross is all about, and that’s why you need a Savior…if you want to live.

Words of Comfort: Googling Comfort

Atheist, Gary Stanley Jr. had a bright idea. He used Google as a judge and jury of my character, and the speedy results were interesting. He said to use the search words "Ray Comfort Dishonest." Google came back with a quick and damning ruling. It said an amazing "About 83,100 results (0.35 seconds)."  So I Googled "Ray Comfort honest” and got "About 29,500,000 results (0.46 seconds)."

Words of Comfort: Definition of Atheism

Atheist Bridgette P. "Could you please define atheism for me? I mean, in your own words."

My own definition of the word "atheist" is someone who pretends that there's no God. Atheism therefore is the delusion that God doesn't exist.

Prepare to have your faith shaken...

Words of Comfort: Bogus

Atheist, Mark Fleming said, "Science has saved millions of lives, and made your life better. Please remove yourself from society and go back to living in a cave."

If you're an atheist and a believer in evolution, you have disqualified yourself from siding with true science. Atheism is intellectual suicide. It is to believe that nothing created everything, or even worse, to redefine the word "nothing" to mean "something" in an effort to distance yourself from such a clearly fool belief. Darwinian evolution is an unproven and unprovable fantasy. If you think it has scientific credibility watch www.evolutionVsGod.com on August 7th, and see evolutionary scientists from UCLA and USC go into panic-mode trying to find evidence for it. It is bogus.

Words of Comfort: TWO Days to Go!!!

TWO Days to Go!!!
EvolutionVsGod.com world-wide release on YouTube: August 7th 12:01 AM. EST
“Ray Comfort does it again! With simplicity and keen insight on the streets, he pulls back the curtain of Evolution and reveals that the Great Wizard of Darwinism is just an insecure little man with a dream of becoming a god. I highly recommend this helpful, faith-building, and inspiring video for families, teachers, and pastors!” — Kirk Cameron
“Ray Comfort’s got a fabulous film. Oh boy, this is going to cause the halls of academia to have a few conversations around the cafeteria.”  —Janet Parshall—In the Market with Janet Parshall
“How amazing that the Everest-like mountain of hard evidence for evolution might be razed to the ground in one brief 38-minute film by a man with only a high school education and a reputation for being, as Dawkins says, an idiot…And if Ray’s film does what it claims, it will mean a scientific revolution on a scale the like of which has never been seen in the history of humanity.” — Ingrid Hansen Smythe, Skeptic.com
“It makes me ashamed to be a human being.” — From a review, from an atheist who watched a pirated version.

You can still help out the ministry with production costs by downloading Evolution vs. God before it goes live on YouTube Wednesday. In addition to the download, you'll get study notes and a complementary copy of Ray’s latest book.
Remember, by downloading it before the public release date you
are giving us the ability to produce more movies like this.
Thank you.

Words of Comfort: Futile

Atheist, Craig B. said, “Ray claims that life is futile without God. ‘Futile: Adjective Incapable of producing any useful result; pointless.’ Meanwhile scientists, the vast majority of which are non-religious, keep cranking out inventions to better humanity, increasing our health, quality of life, and ease of living, among many other useful things. Why do you keep making claims which are demonstrably untrue?”

Have you ever wondered why it is that everything you hold dear to you will one day be ripped from your unwilling hands by death--your mother, father, brother, sister, children, etc. I'm sure you have. As long as you are separated from God by your sins, you are subject to utter futility. Time will prove the truth of this. I hope you come to that sober realization and end up in repentance at the foot of the cross before you pass into eternity.

Words of Comfort: Mentiroso

“The Bible was written by man and men lie. Also there is no God; man created it just like the concept of sin.” -Wayne Searle

This atheist says that men lie and expects us to believe him when he says that there is no God. Of course the Bible was written by men. What sort of person would believe that there was nothing and a big bang produced a book with chapters, verses, sentences, and meaning? To believe that anything with such order happened by chance is a ludicrous thought. Each of its more than 40 authors were inspired by God and penned its words over a period of 2,300 years, and yet there is an incredible thread of continuity throughout the Scriptures. In the Old Testament, God promised to destroy death--man’s greatest enemy, and in the New Testament we see how He did it.

I have been reading the Bible every day without fail for more than 40 years, and there are no mistakes in it. The only “mistakes” we may think we find are our mistakes.
