Words of Comfort: John Bunyan

“I never knew all there was in the Bible until I spent those years in jail. I was constantly finding new treasures.” John Bunyan

John Bunyan (1628 –1688) was an English Christian writer and preacher who is well-known for his classic book, The Pilgrim's Progress.  In 1660 he was imprisoned for 12 years for preaching the gospel, and it was in prison that he studied the Bible and wrote Pilgrim’s Progress. It is the world’s most famous allegory. Those of you who are skeptics will find yourself perfectly portrayed in the book in a wonderfully unique way. You can freely read it on line:  or watch it:
