Words of Comfort: Eating a live, fat, blood-filled, wriggling worm.

"Didn't you say before that it was impossible for God to lie? Which is it? Are all things possible or not? I'm not taking anything out of context. Ray Comfort has said that it is impossible for God to lie, and now he is saying with God, all things are possible.  It can't be both. Logic... It's important." Brad Gurney

Let me try and show you how it can be both. It would be impossible for me to eat a live, fat, blood-filled, wriggling worm. Of course it is possible for me to eat it--all I need to do is put it in my mouth and chew, but it is such a disgusting thought, I draw on the strength of the word "impossible" to substantiate the claim. Lying is so against God's holy nature, so repulsive, so disgusting and distasteful to Him the Bible calls on the strength of the word "impossible" to substantiate the claim. It is “impossible” for God to lie. That means you can totally trust every promise He makes.
