Words of Comfort: Salt among salt.

“Do all things without murmurings and disputings: that you may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom you shine as lights in the world; holding forth the word of life…” (Philippians 1:14-16).

Too often the Church becomes exclusive. We fellowship only with Christians—a monastery without walls. We become salt among salt, light among light. In reality, the Church should be “in the midst... among whom...in the world—holding forth the word of life.”
